It's me again, that occasional visitor, I see the thread is over 1100 pages, what a waste of trees!
As for Christmas, had a friend on Facebook complaining that the Christmas Lights were on in Leeds a couple of weeks back, (I think they must have been testing them:lol
Right I'm off, see you all in another two months

Just coming up for air from working on Norway photos, mine and his, and a few from a friend.
I hate this bit.
Must be time for a glass of something.

Nice to see that wales gets a mention in my absence
Happy belated birthday Gwyn
Your experience is certainly odd but hey ho - at least there are other pubs
Apologies for my absence (maybe no one noticed) but I was hospitalised at the start of the week with the viral (not the scary bacterial version) of meningitis a bit unexpected to say the least - I have slept most of the week and can't really look at a screen for long but will be back properly once I perk up a bit

Good Grief Stuey
That's not the sort of thing that anyone wants to have.
Take care of yourself and don't hurry back to the computer screen - take your time and get well properly.

Sorry to hear your news Stuey. I missed you - I had expected a response to Stan's comment about Welsh tbh. I thought you were perhaps on holiday.
Take your time and get well. We'll all still be here when you get back.

That incoming one is my cue to start looking out my stash of Christmas cards - and then do nothing at all for 2 weeks , and then I start ......
