I've just re-discovered a small gift I was given last Christmas. It's one of those multi tool things that has cross point screw driver, a flat blade screw driver, a knife blade, an led light and the most useful of all, a Bottle Opener!

So basically, it's a tool which allows you to break into the mini-bar and drink the contents?

Currently enjoying a force 10 wind, and crossing open water to boot. Great fun. Sea lashes the windows as high as deck 5. We had a walk around the ship, which was a challenge, but good fun.
On the plus side the weather has got the gannets flying, we've seen several this morning. Beautiful birds, but impossible to photograph in this weather.

Because of the height above sea level we had steel plates to fasten over the wheelhouse windows in the case of inclement weather, each plate having a small slot to look through, to comply with the regulations regarding maintaining a proper lookout. It was great fun watching the seamen struggle to put the plates up.

my house has a bottle opener fixed to the kitchen wall (put there by a previous owner). If I'm at home I never have to look for one again.
you don't have to be mad to post here

but it does help

I have bottle opener with a cork screw....to cover all eventualities. You can even pierce a can if the ring pull breaks.

Why?

You can't beat letting the cork from fizz bottles shoot into the distance..

....it confuses the neighbours when they find their lawn covered in corks!

Besides, I've seen too many u-tube and the like clips of wasted Champers coz some muppet thinks he's a cossack!!

We won a pub quiz last night. First prize was a bottle of alcohol free "champagne".

We should have come second. They won some chocolates.

A bit like PU comps, it clearly doesn't pay to win.

You could sell the bottle on your next trip to Norway
