I'd have to sell my soul to buy a glass of wine here in Norway.
Weather is incredible, sea like a mill pond. Northern Lights last night.

What about a pint then?

Is this on the ship or ashore?

It's cheaper in Denmark. I saw everyone nipping over from Malmo to the other side to pick up their beer supplies.

However, maybe that's not very close to Norway?
Best regards, John

The "beer" they used sell was referred to as Onion Water and you'd drown before it had any effect. I suppose it's all changed now.

The Norwegians nip into Sweden to get beer..

....the Swedes cross over to Denmark to top up the cellar....

........and the Danes cross into Germany!

Just back from a celebratory week end in Brid, still slightly poisoned..

.....apparently I can't drink as much as I used to!
Cheers, HG

Thanks for that vote of confidence TT.

We were celebrating 2 wedding anniversaries and 3 birthdays, all belated, so plenty of wine and beer was consumed..

....not just by myself, but also by Mrs HG and our 2 good friends.

I hope I'm back to normal tomorrow, I need to sort out what to do about a dying smart phone...

.....I'd like a good one but can't really justify the expense....
Cheers, HG

Knowing HG he was celebrating anniversaries and birthdays, just not of anyone he knew.

I imagines he sits down with the Telegraph and Argus, looks through the announcements' page and raises a glass to every mention!
