No John's right, there are no plots. When you have a gallery you will get glamour photos posted, some people do not want to view such, so this filter is available for them to hide material marked as adult from the gallery.

We have to consider everyone on the site. A youth could quite easily access this site and legally we have to provide a way to filter out this type of content. No plots or anything, its a requirement that we must reach. We had a recent photo that was uploaded to the gallery that brought to our att...

Good job that I kept a childish mind, otherwise I would be filtered out like all the other adults that used to frequent this forum... I think it's good to have a place where we children can be amongst ourselves. :D:D

We have to consider everyone on the site. A youth could quite easily access this site and legally we have to provide a way to filter out this type of content. Ok, so as a sensitive wee flower, I can decide that I don't want to see pictures of certain types of nice looking birds and tits, and set m...

But if the requirement is to protect the world's yoof, isn't an option whereby the members have to censor themselves in order to achieve said protection just a little on the pointless side? Hmmm, I would have thought that the filter should be on as a default, with the option to switch it off with a ...

I think if it had been said that all adult theme images were being banned then there might have been something to complain about. As it is, dealing with a legal requirement and putting an optional filter in seems to be eminently sensible. It needs switching on to take effect so anybody not wan...

I think if it had been said that all adult theme images were being banned then there might have been something to complain about. Point taken. It's not an issue, as far as I am concerned. And I can see that there can be some benefit to it, especially for those skivers who watch at work! By the ...

By the by, what is the law that makes this a legal requirement? No idea, I'm just quoting what David said on that and I'm sure he knows what he needs to do to make the site comply with whatever regulations are in force.

Well, like any other adult material (magazines, videos, etc) websites have to comply with the same sort of rules and regulations or heavy fines and possible shutting down may occur. I have kids myself and personally, I wouldn't be very happy if they went to a site that had adult material that wasn'...

Not everything has to be seen as an issue.... Hey, just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're not out to get you.. :) Of course, it's not an issue at all, as it stands. It adds to personal choice, so I'm all for it.

I'm somewhat disappointed. Here I thought there must be a whole group of titillating (no pun intended) photos that I had so far missed, and it turns out to be nothing of the sort... But, I do think the filter's a good idea...

I did submit a photo to the gallery yesterday and marked it as "adult" (I like to think that I am taking grown up photos. No nudity, though, just a test). When I now switch on the adult filter I don't see it any more in the gallery (well, expectedly so). When I look at my portfolio, though, I had e...
