Hi All, As promised, I've finally got round to sorting out some tasty bits for sale. Tamron 300mm f/2.8 Manual Focus AD2 lens This is a big, beautiful lens. It uses the AD2 (adaptall) mount to enable it to be used on pretty much any camera system, even your spotmatics! Included in the sal...

For Sale FA35mm F2

My original *ist-D suffered from back focus in both AF and MF, indicating the sensor was in the wrong position vertically. The effect was most noticeable with wide-angle lenses (as the "depth of focus" at the film/sensor plane is progressively smaller as focal length decreases). I s...

Macros For Sale FA50 & FA100 & macro flash

Hi John, apart from the focusing issues I also wanted a good new standard lens and a better body with a bigger sensor. I don't think it would ever be possible to "fix" the DS as it can't be setup differentley for different lenses. I don't like the current line up of Pentax bodies and standard ...

Tokina SD 70-210mm

Hi. Hi just found another copy of this lens, so no point in keeping 2 (ah! LBA controlled :P) The lens is in excellent cosmetic and mechaninal condition as you can see and comes with both caps (original) The glass also looks ok, but on close inspection... There is some cons...

100mm Macro and other bits on eBay

You are, of course, completely right - the Componon is a 6 element design (in my defence I've never used it, it belonged to my Dad and when I sold off all his darkroom gear for him last year it was the one thing I kept hold of in case I could ever find a use for it). I've had a good play with the...

100mm Macro and other bits on eBay

The thing is it's not the 50mm lens which is cropping the slide - it's that you aren't using all the field of view that it produces because of the APS-C sized sensor. I think you might need a different sort of slide copier altogether for digital, but I haven't had the need to check it out yet.

More lense for Pentax - 28-105mm & 50mm F1.7

Hi. Continuing the cleaning... Sigma 28-105mm F2.8-4 This is actually pretty good, better at 105mm than the Tamron adaptall I have (which in turn trumps it for bokeh). But the range really isn't the best (not as nice as a 17-70mm would be). It does not extend when focusing, which I found nice....

For Sale - K100D

Is the only difference between this and the K100D Super the dust removal? The Ephotozine review confirms that sensor cleaning and SDM lens compatibility are about the only differences: You can't knock the addition of sensor cleaning and sdm-lens compatibility, they're very welcome. However, a bit...

Wanted Pentax cheap digital body

LCEgroup are showing an *ist-D at £240 in Exeter. The DS has a single thumb wheel. However, the custom menu allows a lot of control. It has the same 6Mp sensor as the *ist-D. Although the *ist-D has two wheels, it uses CF cards. So, you'll probably find the *ist-DS more useful ;) I still have m...

All my Pentax gear for sale...

i am buying a Nikon D700... Sigma DR 28 - 300mm lens

I am sure it was designed for film, or at least a so-called "full-frame" sensor. It might well "perform" very well on digital, but it doesn't "work" as a single all-purpose lens. On film it would. I'm sure you'll find a buyer on Ebay. After all, 300mm is 300mm, and there are not that many choi...

How about a K10D with a small mark on the sensor? Wouldn't make any difference as that would be replaced anyway I believe.

WANTED: K10D/GX10

How about a K10D with a small mark on the sensor? Wouldn't make any difference as that would be replaced anyway I believe. The mark you inflicted is not on the sensor Mike, but on the glass filter that sits in front of it. This is the part that is replaced in an IR conversion job so you are right, ...
