Go for it Amin! In the link you put up, there are a couple of suggested books by Harold Egerton. I have another of his books called Stopping Time - a whole load of his piccies. He was a pioneer in this field. He has some piccies taken early 1950s of atomic bombs going off, 'freezing' the mushroo...

Final news of Olympus Micro Four Thirds
That's why I'm waiting on Samsung. If they produce something comparable in size but with better K-mount integration then they'll probably get my money instead. I'll wait for Ricoh to produce something similar, there has been quite some discussion about them producing a GX200 style camera but ...

Final news of Olympus Micro Four Thirds
Total waste of time.... No Viewfinder. Maybe for you. But for a lot of people, the idea of a relatively cheap, ultra compact, APS-C sensor body that accepts K-mount lenses is an intriguing idea, even with the viewfinder compromise. Particularly if it meant they stepped up production of the DA 21mm l...

Pentax Customer Service – A story for the cynical...
I contacted JPSS about the mark on my sensor and notice that unlike Pentax themselves if you do not accept their quote they charge you for returning the camera. Ah well, should have got it done sooner .. will wait until the K-7 is released now. Edit: Before anyone gets the wrong idea, I'm not mo...

Pre-ordered K7 and price rises?
Might be a bit longer due to an altered sensor. AP can't even test the camera yet. Strange thing is the BJ are supposed to be publishing a Full Test this week. Must be on a Beta camera? which makes it pointless, and why are Pentax risking their reputation on tests done on beta models. It was A...

SRS new prices
Hey the K-7 isn't even out you so all you do now is branding it expensive on the advice price Pentax gives and not for the money it will lay in the shop! Kodak kills Kodachrome film
Haven't used Kodachrome in years, but did like some of their other films. I too am an Ilford man. When others had a camera for colour and one for mono, I had one for FP4/PanF and one for HP5! But it does make you think, there was a time that what you put in the back of the camera had as much of...

Digital & Film (Nearly) in Kirkcudbright
I have the same problem. Until late last year I regularly went about with a film camera, but these days I find it hard to find the motivation. I love the big bright view finders on film cameras. I love the vivid saturated colours you can get with Velvia. Changing lenses in the field without the worr...
