Manual Digital Body?
Digital MX, that's an even better name. Comparing the size of the optio to a film body only the sensor would seem to put thickness on, allowing for a standard 'K' mount fitting. With the modern circuits and thin screens it would be possible, heck my old Sony Cybershot U is only the size of 2 3...

Dust from the sensor
I removed the focus screen and cleaned it, there are still some bits of dust on it but I can live with it, I have not used the blower on my K200 and its fine, so unless I see a lot of dust I won't be using the blower I think a small hoover will be better but they're pricey. Jack:mrgreen:

Dust from the sensor
Get either the Arctic Butterfly brush or the Pentax 0-ICK kit to clean your sensor. Better than a blower, which as you have found just moves the dirt around in the body.

Tuesday at the NEC
I too went to the 'show' and was disappointed that there was so little about Pentax. Hope for better next year. I too looked at the Sigma 150-500 but they didn't have one with a Pentax fit. I had to try one with a Canon Camera!!! I heard that with the K10D using the Sigma 150-500 you have to d...

Something to think about........
I think there may be a clue here. When you say close the page that implies that you have left the site, so when you return the buttons have reset. The button means "new posts since last visit" and not "unread posts" so when you read one you need to read the rest before you leave, otherwise they will...

Hi, just a quick question, How often is to often to clean your Sensor:?:. Basically, having bought a Lenspen last Christmas, I've needed to clean the sensor about 4 times. The last time was Two weeks ago, but there are now specks of dust showing up again. I do tend to swap and change lenses a lot es...

Sensor Cleaning
There is a coating over the sensor so what you actually clean is that, it can take some punishment I guess. Since I use an articbutterfly I must say that i clean less often, once in the 2 or 3 months now, used to did it monthly with a blower. The problem was that you just move the dust with that...

Sensor Cleaning
Cliff, Be carefull if using a Rocket Blower as it's possible to blow dust into the view finder rather than out of the camera.

Sensor Cleaning
Clean it when necessary, but learn how to change your lenses to minimise the crud getting in there in the first place: Switch the camera off before removing a lens. Point the body so the lens is facing the floor, and keep it that way while changing the lens. Change lenses is as dust free an envir...

Sensor Cleaning
I've got an istDL. I've been meaning to ask this question as I've never cleaned my sensor, scared of damaging it. But, I always follow Gwyn's advice above when I change lens, so maybe I've been lucky.
