Yorkshire meet 28th July 2007
It is an autofocus lens so I don't have to worry about manual focusing perfectly. It is very difficult to get it spot on, even with the AF sensor telling you when it is supposedly in focus.

September Yorkshire meet
Just sat down after a busy trip to Scotland and a very hectic week. I think I can get to hebdon bridge, but I'd then need to walk the mile or two to the meeting place. Not really a problem if my walking boots are dry by then. Scotland was very wet and boggy as usual. However, my boots really suffere...

September Yorkshire meet
I'm trying to sort something but may only be able to stay a couple of hours. I need to be back in Huddersfield by about 1.00pm. If I'm not there on time don't wait, but fingers crossed. Harry

Essex/Anglia Pentax Group
Not that I'm aware of (unless the others are keeping it quiet from me  ), but we did have a meet of 'southerners' a few months back, and that involved some from Essex, Cambridgshire, London and Buckinghamshire (and possibly somewhere else, sorry if I've forgotten  ). I certainly wou...

South and/or London Group?
I am a little far away in Lincoln. However, I have done the odd "day out" in London on a weekend. Normally to coincide with some event. Meet up around mid to late morning. Pick somewhere interesting shoot PM and then quick visit to pub and then curry etc for those that want or depart back...

South and/or London Group?
Just flagging up interest in this. I live South West London area (Morden/ Sutton). Where do you live, Chris? What about the Surrey Hills? easily accessible of the M25 - places like Boxhill/ Ranmore Common etc? Possible need to wait until the leaves grow back though! Andy

December Yorkshire meet
Unfortunately, I can't make Monday. Wednesday to Friday is easier but Thursday or Friday would be best. It isn't very easy for me after work as it means getting home at 7 and then going out again after collecting equipment and cleaning up from the 7 mile bike ride. I am going away on Saturday or ...

Groups in the PU mag
Hi, I've been flicking through some old copies of the Pentax User magazine and one thing I noticed was that there used to be space dedicated to Pentax User Groups, giving details of meetings etc. I know this is going back to the days before the internet where meets can be arranged in the forum bu...

Yorkshire meet??
Weekends give much more time to shoot and anyone who is working won't be quite as tired as straight after work in the evening. I prefer weekends... I have no idea where to go though. I was considering visiting Roundhay Park and 'Leeds Tropical World' as I've never been. Saw some good photos fr...

Yorkshire meet??
Greetings, thought I'd throw my oar into the pond. Although I'm a Samsung GX-10 person, I hope that you might not frown on me too much interfering in your Pentaxian ways. I do have a Pentax fil-um camera anyway and use mostly pentax lenses on the S*****g so don't think too badly of me  ...

Yorkshire meet??
Well, unfortunately for me, I'm without camera at the moment cos the fiddly Anti-shake button on the back shook itself off ;) and the camera is with SS at their service centre (hmm, why did I buy a camera made by the Gestapo?). As for a suitable date... if you look at the events | Entry lists tab...

Photoshop (Elements) & Pentax classes
Well Matt's gotta figure a way to pay for his time also..... the only thing I would add, is this: If you decide to go that way, Matt, I'd be interested in helping out. Assuming you'd want to podcast.... See if Pentax, ePhotozine, or anybody else Wants to PAY you for your efforts with ad dollars....

Calling all Devon PUs!
Just wondering how many Pentax Users we have down in Devon as I moved down here from Leeds a few months back. Went to a couple of meets up North and would like to see if anyone down here fancies setting something up.

Calling all Devon PUs!
2 here (husband & wife team both users) but in the strange, wild North of the county. I think there is at least one other North Devoner I have seen posts from. And i think a few around Exeter. Before we came here, I had no idea how big Devon was or the seeming North / South divide. I know it ...

Calling all Devon PUs!
Wow, quite a response! Yes, Devon is quite large. Getting from Plymouth to Ilfracombe for a concert was tough by road and harder back by public transport! It is do-able if you are willing to spend the time (which is the main problem, half the day vanishes). Ilfracombe to Barnstaple by bus, train ...
