Hello reader, my name is Walter Hampson and I have been using digital cameras since 2005. Prior to that I was using 35mm DSLR - Pentax was my preferred brand then. I was often disappointed with the results I got using a film camera, not because I did not know what I was doing, but I had no control over the whole process. Gradually I became disenchanted with photography and just used the expensive gear as a snap shot camera. The advent of digital camera combined with the use of computers and editing software gave me back my interest and control of my work process.
