I love the water movement in the FG but I think at 18mm you could have shot from closer to the log. A little more contrast & colour saturation lifts this image noticeably. It's a pity the horizon has such a slope on it. Regards, Ian.

It's a nice bright red letterbox but that is as far as the photo goes. The BG is distracting & shooting at f5.6 has exacerbated the problem as the BG isn't blurred - shooting wide open would help but those bright things behind the letterbox are still going to be distracting. The composition & POV are pretty unenterprising making for a pedestrian photo. Regards, Ian.
