Of this series it's #2 that moves me Andrew - easily the best of the series IMHO. It's interesting, has wonderful lines & colour & the steam provides real action.
The bicycles is the other one I like but I feel you needed to shift your POV to the right & frame left to reduce the BG distractions (the sign is fine but the building is a problem).

"Box Lid" doesn't do anything for me I'm afraid.
"Ajar" is the best for my money. Good use of composition, selective focus & plenty of room for the mind to speculate.
"Switched" is interesting, certainly has potential but the composition is messy. Cropping down to the horizontal timber improves it but it's still not quite right, can't pick where to go with it. Equally cropping the bottom (instead of the top) helps it.
"Worn Out". I would crop out the BG on the right.
"Post Mortem" doesn't work for me - nothing to interest my eye.
"Barred & Bolted" is OK. Plenty to look at. I wonder how it would go rotated anticlockwise so the diagonals started in the corners.

Better detail in RAW - needs a lot of sharpening to extract it.
More reliability . Mine has been to the Dr. twice. Firstly because front e-wheel wasn't working, got it back to find the AF was on the blink. OK now.
Greater dynamic range.
Less noise at higher iso (>800).

Yep, set it to shake the sensor every time. Don't forget to turn the camera off before changing lenses, this removes the possibility of anything going wrong with the electronics during the change (unlikely) but also cleans the sensor after the exposure to crud during the lens change.
