Snapped this fellow on the bedroom window sill after hearing "Distress Call" from the Mrs. She wasn't impressed when I went and got the camera instead of the gadget for harmlessly disposing of such visitors. It did survive the ordeal of being shouted at

C & C's please. Given more time I should have...

I've got the chance to photograph some exotic pets in a room in someones house, snakes, spiders and lizards but not sure which would be a "good" lens to use. I have Sigma 105mm macro and the Pentax kit lenses. Have a tripod and remote release but no flash except the built in on the K7 any advice on getting some good snaps appreciated. Assuming the creatures will be on a table of some description.

Stan, I have corrected it. Thank you for noticing the problem. It obviously stopped working after ppg's facelift.

Nice to hear you sold it Alberto!
Your welcome. Just to make sure I looked at your ppg link today and all is well, also enjoyed the images.

Everyone know what caused the riots, when a guy has no "bread", no "broads", and worst of all no "wheels" he'll do anything to draw attention to his plight... from the Backtrack 13 Album "You can't beat people up and have them say I love you" Murray Roman (March 8, 1929 – November 6, 1973)

Do you mean the ones with the flat ends? There is a shop in Whitby does them, as well as Liquorice root.
I think the ones you mention will be as thick as 7-8mm diameter with the texture of a chew stick The ones I mean were about 5mm max diameter and had some leaves (looked like bay leaves?) throughout the box.

I well remember chewing on Liquorice Root and how the jaws would eventually ache, sometimes soothed by smoking a cinnamon stick in our gang hut Of course by 11-12 we moved on to the real thing as Woodbines were only 9d and available in packets of 5. Anyone remember Joysticks sold singally at 4d each or Domino ( don't think the company lasted long ) at 6d for 4 ? The follies of a mis-spent childhood

Where do you get your Liquorice Tony? I usually pick up a couple of bags at Lakeland, the "normal" black stuff. Liz prefers the Mango flavour.
I wish we could get liquorice with the same flavour as those small 1/2d sticks that were available when we were children At least Sherbet Lemons can still catch you out
