There used to be a caravan site by St Marys lighthouse (Whitley Bay) which had a sign on the fence saying "Tresspassers will be eaten".
The site used to be an old RAF camp and I often wondered if this was done by the patrol dogs or the staff (or both)
Blytheman might comment as to whether the site is still there
