Mmmmm ! Sounds a bit like tree hugging and self promotion to me folks.

Naked tree hugging! Now that could have generated a LOT of interest in the recent "Tree" competition

I'm seeing him again for my next one on 6 July and I'll ask him. If it's all Pentax gear I wonder if I could get to take a snap, then if the new monthly comp subject is "Interiors" it'll be valid for entry, or rear entry

I don't think the snaps taken by the consultant during my colonoscopy would have exited many judges but I bet the camera/lens cost a lot more than a cam-phone. Could have done with a tweek or two in photoshop I think

I see his location is Lichfield, wasn't there a snapper, Lord Lichfield or some such, perhaps he thinks we should all emulate him.

I'm pleased you said that, I might publish some of mine taken at iso 1600, light source a tilley lamp, location deep in a cave, when the camera showed "battery exhausted" when deploying the pop up flash

Paper money has its own texture but if it doesn't qualify I still had the enjoyment of pasting it together

The weather was far too nice up here so I missed the whole thing. The Platinum Jubilee is only 10 years away. I might just wait for that one!

Or hang on for King Charles' 60th he'll be cracking on a bit by then though

Package arrived yesterday while I was out so picked up today. Well packed and condition very good as described. I'm almost tempted to get a "dedicated" (TTL) camera now Thanks Will.

Yes, I felt sorry for them! However, they seemed to be taking it well. I noticed that none of the band/orchestra ventured out on deck!

Unlike the band on another ship, some years ago.
