I'm saving up for my 70th next year, combining it with Ruby Wedding

I'm so pleased to read it's not just me who keeps everything 'just in case'
What I do find useful on 'dustbin shots' is to try different things in photoshop to improve the image or parts of it and if successful try and remember what I did

Oh dear, and for all those years I thought the photographer told the camera what to do...
Oh No I thought that's what the green lozenge and the beep was for, to tell the photographer it was "All systems go"

I can never ever remember getting drunk. I do remember being told the next day and recall how ill I felt until getting a top up

We've all heard someone at one time or another boasting, "I'm a better driver after a couple of pints".
Does this apply to photography as well. After several drinks I used to find the manual focus lenses stopped working correctly but the the young ladies certainly looked more attractive. Thankfully those days are but a faint memory

I often think the mark of a good photographer is not someone who knows how to have the aperture wide open, but knows when to have the aperture wide open.
This can also apply to the aperture under the nose.

Because light travels faster than sound very often a person will appear bright, until they speak

I've got a Hoya ND2 and ND4 screw in unused and the Kood 2 and 4(Cokin square type) unused and one of those varifilters from 7Dayshop which goes from clear to black which is supposed to be 8 stop IIRC. Didn't have a lot of success with it first time round so waiting for a nice day to try again And try out the others of course

Came across these tables and was wondering if they are acurate for using as a quick reference:

Loads but everyone was more interested in the free bar, I've never seen such a variety of drinks in one place
