Gosh - how did we EVER survive the 50s,60s,70,80s without Health & Safety regulations - oh yes - I remember now - it was called common sense - silly prat deserves to be ridiculed - he`ll probably sue the neighbours for leaving toys in their garden .........................

Help us all

I was all ready to meet the challenge when my bowel ruptured and I spent October in hospital - please do not be defeatist - I`m happy to enter and step up to a challenge.

Where do you get your Liquorice Tony? I usually pick up a couple of bags at Lakeland, the "normal" black stuff. Liz prefers the Mango flavour.
I wish we could get liquorice with the same flavour as those small 1/2d sticks that were available when we were children At least Sherbet Lemons can still catch you out

Stan
Hey Stan - I use - aquarterof.co.uk - they have all the old sweets and are reasonably priced. There was a shop in Jersey I remember with some very odd flavoured liquorice ( including salted ?? )and occasionally I will buy from the health food shop in our village.
Try the online one...........

Yes, I know of people who couldn't cope with retirement too, and quite a lot who didn't make it to retirement, one of the reasons I quit when I did.
I know for sure the prostate cancer would not have been detected (I took part in random screening) until too late and a year later the bowel cancer. Now I feel every day above ground is a bonus not to be wasted
