Thanks for that Johnathan - I didn`t realise I was that crabby

They haven`t been back today or left a "deposit" !!

I concur - we haven`t watched Saturdays for weeks now - DVDs from Lovefilm or pre-recorded stuff on the V+ are the order of the day - there is absolutely nothing worth watching and as Barrie says - Sundays are no better apart from Homeland.....................
Roll on the lighter nights and let`s get out there !

Tony

Thanks Algi - I`ll have a go - it`s actually got a splined location on the lens barrel so I`m open to any suggestions - cheap damaged one on ebay would be nice !!:

All this talk of planets in alignment so I dug out the Pentax SMC Tak 300mm 1:4 and realised I haven`t got a tripod mount/lens collar for it !!
Any out there or any ideas for suitable after market rings ?

Help

Tony

What I meant was "sale completion"
I`ve got the link direct to the plasma tv with night cam, sound and full colour thanks to my daughter`s imaginative Xmas pressie.

Thanks for the heads up though

Tony

We have had a couple of tits sent round by the estate agents - this one left his wife outside on the Berberis whilst he had a peck around - came back 3 or 4 times and I definately think they are interested !

Seemed like a nice couple and the house is adequate for them, with nice neighbours, colour cable tv,fully furnished and close to all amenities.

We shall see...................photos to follow on completion from tv link to box.

I will add my two penn`orth - I still lust after the 10-20 that Davex let me try when we met ( Samsung )but if I am travelling light it has to be the 18-55 DA AL II and the 75-300 FAJ Pentax which is really lightweight compared to the Sigma 28-300 which gets used less and less these days.
I have a nice little Sigma 24-70 aspherical which I picked up cheaply on ebay which is handy.
All my others are "used" for comps, special days and projects - mainly the 1.4 50mm Super Tak on the *istD - really fun lens and super sharp.

Tony

Maybe see you at Archirondel Dave at my favourite beach/cafe !

Going at beginning August this year for 10 days - sis lives at Fernside Farm - weather hopefully good and much to photograph as usual.

Tony

It`ll be great to see a Pentax camera in Jersey - I visit my sister in 5 Oaks every year when possible, and I`ve yet to bump into another "real photographer" !!

Good luck with the K5 - I`m still saving up...........

Tony

Blimey TT - I feel guilty now with my sleeves rolled up doing little tidying jobs in the garden.

Glad I kept my thermals handy
