Drizzley and grey here - glad I did the lawn yesterday - back down to Uckfield on Thursday for a surprise early 40th birthday prezzie for our daughter - I reckon I`ll get a Christmas card from Shell this year !!
Still torn over my entry for the Wednesday comp.Bone density scan coming up again soon too - maybe they will give me a print - lol.

We`re back from the family wedding festivities in Winsford Cheshire - weather behaved itself and all went well - only managed about 320 photos so a bit of editing to do there then.
Weather holding here though the forecasts seem dire - could this be the last of summer ?
Enjoyng the bread from the new breadmaker - especially toasted with peanut butter spread on !

Coffee time now - laters

I was priviledged to try some many years ago when my Hotel Manager - an Italian from Pavia - returned from a trip home to see his mum - it didn`t travel too well and was almost petillant - but drunk slightly chilled it was very very pleasant - never seen it since sadly.

Well said flossie - pizza rules - but it has to be strong flour, olive oil, salt and water only - hand pressed and then topped with homemade basil, oregano and tomato passata, finished off with peppers, olives, onions and goat`s cheese - black pepper and a glass of Montepulciano d`Abruzzo or a rustic Buttafuoco Pavese( don`t ask )from Pavia near Milan.

I wouldn`t pay £10 for a Domino`s pizza if my life depended on it - although Pizza Express in St.Helier Jersey aren`t bad ( and you get to ogle the sunbathers ! )

Taken me since 1990 `ish - shame I don`t really get chance to use it all too,but it is great to handle and look at.

I converted the *istD for dedicated M42 use so that is good for the older lenses.
I go green when I see the likes of 12-24 and 400 ED - too late now methinks but it`s what you do with what you got eh ?

Best

That`s the yeast of our worries ! I suppose you have to go earn a crust ?

Crumbs - I must be bored !!

I`ve just christened Jo`s new auto breadmaker with a 2lb white loaf baked overnight and am now doing a wholemeal one...................what a great way to bake after all those years kneading !

I`m off to the Dentist at 2-20 for a check up and then back to the safety of the garden - overcast, damp, warm and not very August here.

At least the mistlethrush and blackbirds are happy - the worms come out of the soft ground sooooo easily now !
