String and Vine

Whew - sorry - Flickr playing up !

K20D this afternoon during a brief spurt of sunlight - 18-55 DA AL II with fill flash - 1/180th sec at F5.6 and 100 ISO hand held in the greenhouse.link

Too kind - it`s not officially until September but we ( JO , I , and her partner Jane )have bought a Vespa 125 Douglas for her as it`s her greatest dream after having one in the 80s as a teenager and having had it stolen always wanted another. We thought we would surprise her with a visit and the machine before the "summer" has gone.
Photos will of course follow !

No she doesn`t read the PUF - thinks I`m a nutter already !! - and is deep undercover in the Metropolis as we speak - probably in a dockside caff having a butty and a cuppa !! 12 hour days and busy busy busy !

Off to Uckfield tomorrow for the surprise early 40th for Emma ( daughter ) weather looks better down there anyway.

Tony

Surely if we were to discuss it again it would be pointless ??

Sorry !

Tony

Please - not video my friend - diff`rent strokes for diff`rent folks - but I don`t want to be on a video website - to me there is a skill and art and pleasure in taking photos - digital or film - but the idea of videos transcends this and becomes an entirely different medium - IMHO - and I could not think of anything less interesting - reminiscent of the early days of Super 8 for record shots and family occasions and holidays but not for me I fear !

Personal opinion obviously Stefan but it would be like me being part of a Chef`s Forum and finding someone wanted to include Microwaving or Molecular Gastronomy ( viz Heston Blumenthal ) interesting and slightly relevant but of no interest to me.

Regards

Tony

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !

I see Fuji have launched the world`s first 3D camera and printing service - no need for special glasses - WOW - now people can look at their cr*p photos from the holiday in Spain and see them lifelike and realistic !

A snip at £400 - will we see a 3D comp here soon Stefan ?

Tony

And the sun`s out here again too - Errazuriz Merlot in the glass, sun dried tomato and herb bread in the machine, pasta sauce with tomato, caper, anchovy, roasted peppers, onion and white wine cooking away and the bath is running - laters
