I frequently shoot ice hockey matches. I have used K100d, K-r and the K-30. There is massive leap from K100d to the K-r, and a significantly higher amount of shots in focus from the K-30 over the K-r when shooting the game.

Have you considered if a mono pod would be any help?

Just picked one up, not had chance to test it to much but I have noticed its back focusing a lot in live view but is fine through the view finder. Was just wondering if anyone else had one and if this is this a common problem or just my copy of the lens? Thanks in advance.

Alan I had no idea what was contained in the PMs between you and Roy or that you were unhappy the sale had been agreed befor you had infact made an offer until I got back from collecting the lens.

To the best of my knowledge, you do not know what was contained in the PM's between me and Roy. You have wrongly assumed I offered more than the asking price. Roy accepted the first offer, that was Roy's choise and right to do so. I belive at the time of agreeing the sale Roy did not know if you intended to make an offer or not.

I made a post asking you not to hold what had happened against me or Roy because I did have a lot of respect for you and your contribution to the forums. I chose my words carefully and really have not given Roy the feed back he fully deserves. Why? so as not to rub salt in to your wounds. Your reply is frankly an insult and I consider it personal attack on me.

Hi Alan, to be fair based on what John said above I don't think Roy or I have acted out of turn. Your PM asked for more information. My PM made an offer based on me collecting the Lens in person.

I am sorry you feel hard done by, particularly as you contribute so much to this forum were as I tend to lurk, but please do not hold it against me or Roy.

Sounds very like the issues I had with PEF files and Picasso.
The viewer in this instance was not interpreting the RAW data in the PEF correctly. The initial image is the embedded JPG. I worked around the problem by using a different viewer(IrfanView).
