This is a useful teleconverter that I have used with my K50mm 1.4 to get a very good 100mm 2.8 1:1 macro lens. I have also used it with a 135mm and 28mm, but the macro function changes. It has electrical contacts for full auto operation. See this link for a write-up: http://www.techtheman.com/2008/07/kenko-2x-macro-teleplus-adapter.html

It is in very good condition and comes with a case:

This is the "Falcon" labelled version of the popular fisheye lens. I bought this about 18 months ago, but it no longer gets any use as photography has taken a bit of a back seat. Rather than having it sit on a shelf I have decided to offer it for sale. It hasn't been used much and has all original packaging:

The condition is as new - here is a link to a current auction from the trader I bought off: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Falcon-8mm-Fisheye-Lens-Pentax-K-7-m-K20D-K200D-K7-/39...

Selling new for £220, so I'm looking for £140, which will include UK special delivery. Payment by bank transfer or paypal. I package every sale very well (please see my history) and will accept returns if item not as described.

Thanks for looking.

Good luck Lemmy. Don't worry, your post is fine, I think John is just trying to pre-empt any trolls. I haven't been around much as other things (including life and my other passion, bass guitar) have got in the way. I have the K5 and an array of lenses plus grip and yet lately I find myself just using the 21mm and body. Fact is, these are tools and the tool needs to meet your needs. As Mike says, you've made a rational decision and I may find myself looking in that direction soon (or maybe not - the K5 and 21mm is killer !)

Cheers

Keep an eye on ebay. I got mine (DAL) for £150 shipped from the UK, but definitely grey. As others say, optically it is just as outstanding and the savings mean you can put some money elsewhere (one of the primes from SRS would be a fine thing!). I used this lens at a carnival and it was simply superb, although my wife won't let me put any pictures of kids up on the forum or elsewhere to prove it .

...and I was panicking for the next couple of days thinking I must have bought a duff! Turned out to be pristine and a lens I have had excellent results from - it makes a superb walk-around.

Very good advice Mark. I always use a sniper for the reason you state - manual input will never beat a snipe/autobid process. Got my DA 21mm for £250 this way - I think I was prepared to go to £300!

Indeed. Need to get round to that, but I believe less than a tenner for 3rd party, though I do realise by now a significant number of you are screaming in horror at my uncleanliness (BTW, I have bought quite a bit of stuff off SRS over the years!)

For the 55-300mm, I just bought one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-PENTAX-DA-L-55-300mm-f-4-5-8-ED-LENS-DAL-50-300-mm-/29... . It's grey market and unboxed, so that might not appeal, but for £150 was a no-brainer for me! Delivery and packaging were both good and the lens is pristine.
