Well, in the new year I'm planning a purge and the manual 1.4 will probably go, so keep a look out! (Not too sure about cheap though )

...that we were expecting to wait 1-2 months for. Look what I just got in my email:

"We are pleased to report that the following item will dispatch sooner than expected:

"Pentax SMC 50mm f1.4 FA Lens"
Previous estimated arrival date: January 04 2012 - January 30 2012
New estimated arrival date: December 24 2011 - December 29 2011

For more details, please visit the Your Account section of our web site"

Worth checking your own details - might arrive in time to snap a few reindeer!

As I said I will be honest and describe it used-as-new. I'm not thinking about transferring the warranty (a mistake lots of people make when they describe an item as still being in warranty), but offering my own. In which case I would simply return to Amazon under their warranty and send back to my buyer once fixed. Need to check though as selling it on might void my warranty.

I've ordered both the 35mm (arrived) and 50mm (to come in January) to see which I prefer to team up with the 21mm as I now travel light and take mostly snaps. Might keep them both, but expect to sell one at a market rate and hopefully use any upside to cover costs of the other. As the Dr. mentions, one should be honest although I am toying with the idea of offering a 3 month warranty.
