Nice shot. Agree with Andrew, too flat. Also, the top of the head would have been better in the pic. But still a good composition.

I agree that the composition is good. I believe it is lacking in critical sharpness on the face though, which may be down to focussing or motion blur (can't work out shutter speed from exif!) However, an excellent first shot - looking forward to more!!

Excellent! Only suggestion would be a bit of crop to lose some of the dead space to the sides and bottom.

Lovely - agree with the comment about the black bit. Perhaps cropping to square format? (Also, it might me me and the ambient light, but the skin colour looks a tad too green?) Great shot!

I like the colours and simplicity. However, the land bottom left somewhat spoils it for me. I don't know if it would have been possible to move in order to exclude it?
