A quick question. Something like a sto-fen omni-bounce is allot more expensive than a cheap copy from China. Is there any real difference in how the product works ?

I have never turned the feature off and have never noticed any shake that had not been from me knocking something even with marco's. I will try turning it off and see if it makes any difference now I'm using the K5.
Is this something they ask you to turn off because the first systems where not as good as the newer Pentax systems.

1/5th sec is very slow, was the camera on a tripod? If it was, did you turn off Shake Reduction?

I could stretch to the K5 but my thought's are I could get a second hand K7 for a better bang for your buck. As the market will be flooded with them before xmas. Then I can look at another lens or two for the K7. But still unsure

Hdr for some reason brings out the worst of people in photography circles. It's like you have stolen there soul the way they bang on about it.
