Hi all… I hope this finds you all well. Just a quick heads up re a photography exhibition I’m doing in London over the coming week…

The Light and Land 30th Anniversary exhibition at The Mall Galleries, London, officially opens at 10 am tomorrow (Tuesday 3rd Sept)! Runs till this coming Saturday 7th Sept.! Loads of wonderful work from over 50 photographers.

I’ll be showing my brand new exhibition “Immersive” - see pics. I’ll be at the Private View tonight (invite only), also at the exhibition in person 5pm-7pm Tuesday 3rd Sept, and 12pm - 5pm Saturday 7th Sept. Do drop by and say hello!




I’ve been working on this pioneering Intentional Camera Movement project over the course of the last 2 years... from the Outer Hebrides to Far West Cornwall, with a fair amount of South Wales and northern France thrown into the mix as well.

Essentially this comes from a fascination with the energy of the ocean, and what happens when that energy transfers itself to the land, specifically born from spending more time than I probably should have on a surfboard getting battered.




All the photographs in this collection were taken with long exposures and a moving camera out amongst the breaking waves in, on, or underneath the ocean with Pentax cameras, a Second Skin wetsuit, and EWA-Marine waterproof housing.




Huge thanks as ever to Pentax for their continued backing and support.




All are printed onto Hahnemuhle Photo Rag, and mounted (no glass) onto sustainably sourced heavy duty plywood board. POA.

Yes, good point re the printing... haven't had the chance to do that as yet, but def one of the areas that the camera is meant to shine...
