A30 Cornwall Trees

A clump of trees on the top of a hill westbound A30 Cornwall, no close place to shoot from, so the K3iii plus the 150 - 450 from a layby about 1/2 a mile away and a crop. Have been looking at these for a while ,just waiting for a semi decent sky, there's a single tree eastbound that's more difficult to shoot as there's defiantly no stopping place anywhere near, but I will find a way

I'm sure I've seen that clump of trees Chris and thought to myself "that'd make a good photo if only I could get closer and the right angle!" - nicely done, and I suspect you'll find a way to get closer and re-capture in future

It reminds me of E H Shepherd's drawing of "Galleon's Lap" (Actually Gill's Lap) from The House at Pooh Corner.
Best regards, John

Very nice Chris… the Cornish call them the “nearly home” trees… or sometimes the “nearly there” trees… official name Cookworthy Knapp… more info here
