Love the joey shot

Boss at work generally has to shoo a family of roos from his driveway each morning, and that's in the suburbs!

Had a pick of 3 shots that I liked to use for my tools of trade entry this week - Thought I'd share the other two as well...

I Loved the composition of this one, but the DOF was too shallow and the "tradesman" is out of focus... In fact, I think it's just the whole thing out of focus, as I can't really find something that IS sharp.

And lastly below - I Like the shot, but I liked the people aspect of my final entry more... Shots of aircraft lined up like this are a dime a dozen.

These guys are inspecting their tools of trade before a hard(?!) days work. I Hate them both

Well done to the winners, I Seriously don't know what I'd do if I ever won one of these weekly comps, as I know I couldn't do nearly as good a job of judging!

Just have to say, that 'Kid' is my son, and was initially the focus of my pics until the sleeping backpackers friend came and started talking about cameras and showing off his as well!

I side with JGOAR.

However, I think that the stitching on the left complements the toes nicely. It's the stuff on the right that is perhaps superfluous.

It's nice as it is, but cropping the right would be an improvement.

Lovely soft, muted colours.

First shot was uncropped - Here's a crop.

Thanks Don!

Justgetoutandride - I liked the rug around it, but each to their own - I'm far from a pro

The pics weren't deliberatly set up, he was just sleeping, and I noticed his toes had come unwrapped, so took some snaps. The only thing I did was move the bassinet slightly and open curtains to get more light, I didn't touch the feet or blanket around them.

I'm sure I'll get more chances with different blankies, I'll have to make a note over my next two weeks of holidays to put him down with different blankies, with and without stitchings, to see what looks best!

Really wish I had a tripod rather than having to prop against the bassinet for the slow shutter!

Law of averages says if I take enough photos, there's gotta be a couple of good ones amongst them This is one from last night, playing around with our 1 1/2 week old son.

I know it's nothing special, but I like it for some reason...

From an evening at Semaphore beachfront in Adeliade, South Aus. All handheld - the shake reduction seemed to earn its' keep here

Tickets is the main one I'm not sure about - I Loved the colours, but I don't know that there's anything to... I dunno, Anything to look at? Too much to look at?
