really original but maybe the mid tones could be lifted just a wee bit. The black background is superb.

A beautiful image, as everyone says. You should be very proud of this. I hop you are planning to do more with it than leave it on your computer .
Can you clone out the grey dots though? The one above the swan is especially noticeable.

Very nice indeed! As others have said, great pose, excellent background. I think I can see what Gareth means about the head (slight posterisation in that grey patch above it's right eye?), and the yellowy/green lighting is a little odd, desaturating the greens might make it a bit more yellow. Minor quibbles though, it's a lovely shot

Wow I didnt think I would have got the responce from the photo thanks guys thats very encourging. The photos was taken around 14/30 on a warm afternoon on Sturday with the sun slightly loosing its midd day force. I was around 8 feet or so directly looking over the swan from the jetty when I took the photo.
