OK - so I've got my K-x and I'm now starting to look for a few wee addons

Next year I'm going to be taking the K-x to Belgium and I've been told that the built in flash will not cope with where I do intend to take lots of pictures [ interiors of Churches ]

I need reccommendations for suitable flashes please

Yorkshire pudding is wonderful - I've not had a decent one in years

I'm being honest here - I think that sort of gold/green thing is a monstrosity - it , in my eyes , really cheapens it. It's shiny !! It screams out " look at me ". My best pics have been taken when folk weren't aware of me - and that's using a cheap wee Kodak .

The dark blue is gorgeous - very understated but it still attracts attention.

Remember all the fuss at the beginning with iPods - the white ear buds gave them away and folk were being mugged for their iPods because they were so new and different and indeed were cultish ?

Now everyone is into white ear buds [ except me - they don't work with hearing aids ]

Have that flashy gold camera hanging round your neck and you are possibly opening yourself up to attack - not for me thanks

Black may be dull and boring , but I'll settle for that when my K-x is hanging round my neck

it makes it look like a child's cheap plastic toy camera

wow - talk about concentrated knowledge - I really appreciate that - thanks - I think the basics have now gone in.

Now , and I may be totally off here - warning- logic takes me to think that if the hole so-to-speak, is opened up even by a fraction then what is 'seen' alters as light is funnelled in rather than a straight a straight beam with parallel sides [ horrible description but I hope that's clear ] . Or am I totally off track ?

You know I think a lot of this is going to be much easier once I have the beastie in front of me and am starting to use it , theoretical knowledge is good , and essential , but seeing it in practice is better

OK - now remember I'm learning

K - as my very limited knowledge takes me - the 28 - 200 is focal length

my lens [ the only one at present is] 18-55 - so that take me a bit further away if I've understood correctly - the 28-200 is between the 18-55 and the 55-200.

I'm finding this hard to explain but I think I've got it - it would give me better cover for telephoto than with the 18-55 .

Now where does Aperture fit in with that ?

ssssssssssh - I'm not thinking about that

Mind you - I'm being egged on to keep on looking and shopping , from the USA at present .

Goodness only knows what I'll be coming back with now .

I thought the goodies from the Adorama deal would be sufficient - oh well
