Hi strumstrum and welcome
I feel you should be warned in advance about the highly toxic coatings applied to certain Pentax lenses (the Limiteds and star lenses in particular) - it quite easily rubs off and cause a disease known as LBA. Many of us have it and its incurable
Enjoy the forum

I am looking forward to the K-5II, its on for delivery today.
had a little play with the k-01 last night, instantly surprised how quick it focuses in low light, loving the 40mm, I had the 25mm pancake on Oly and 40mm STM on Canon but this is something else.
its looking like from the get-go I will be able to get the 50-135 which is a bit of a relief, then I have just got to sort out a flash and the switch to Pentax is complete. (until my eyes start oogling up those lush Pentax primes anyway)

just going through the process of switching to Pentax, k-01 w/ 40mm arrived today and the k-5II w/ 18-55 WR is due tomorrow... then hopefully when the rest of my Canon stuff has sold I can get the 50-135 and a flash of some sort..
thought I would join a dedicated Pentax forum. are you a friendly bunch
Thanks

430exII was my flash of choice on Canon and the great and awesome Nikon SB-800 on Nikon..
what should I be looking at to get equivalent to those? I am a little concerned reading about peoples woes with P-TTL but would still like that option.
money is dwindling but I did save more than expected on the 50-135 2.8 and the K-5II so could possibly stretch to Pentax's top dog if that's the recommendation..
Thanks
