Thanks peter, I am not really in to HDR anyway, though i would like to have a play around with it sometime.

However I have done a bit of Dodging and Burning on photo No.3 and will posy both versions again here, perhaps you could comment on which you prefer?

Seriously though sounds to me more along the Sports compact range although a medium format would be interesting Pentax do need to hit the mass markets first. Who knows maybe even a camcorder?

Thanks for the comments. I tend to agree, now I look at No.2 again I don't like it and No.3 is probably the best, but don't you think the light is not so good?

I have the F type
I find it okay for triggering on general tripod shots, but it is a bit of a pain on Bulb. Firstly only 5 metres range which isnt that great for my underground photography, also if you turn slightly away from pointing at the camera it loses its signal and closes the shutter and no lock off.

I am tempted by the Seculine which claims 300ft (50m) range. Somebody doesn't know how to convert metric to imperial or vice versa

However it doesn't say if you can lock it off. So I may go for cable release

Went out very early this morning to catch the sunrise on The Roaches in Staffordshire. As usual for me a band of cloud developed just at the wrong time.
I hung around and struggled with cold fingers until there was some light at least, funny how all thoughts of hyperfocal distance and other technical aspects were cast aside whilst I was suffering.

Anyway here are 3 of the shots I took, not that great but would like C&C anyway.
