You will likely get some strange effects applying a polarising filter to a lens with such a wide field of view. I am thinking especially at the short end.
I seem to recall this being discussed on the forum before, but I cannot find the thread.

The link below goes someway towards explaining the issues.

Lots of interest, but still for sale.

I am open to offers, if not sold this week I will auction on eBay.

Gareth, thanks for your comments. I will look at a different crop for number 2. As for number 6, the mast reflections are cut off by a scrappy sure line so I don't think a portrait shot would work.

Couple of shots taken with the convertor + Pentax 50mm F1.7. Shots were taken hand held at F8

Stefan, I agree with John and Al, I would also refer you to Piotr Haskiewicz's portfolio (Forum username Hasky), who has produced some magical portrait images with the FA 77Ltd.

I'm interested, but I've just brought something similar in M42 cheap from e-bay.
If the one on it's way is too dodgy, I'll probably be unable to resist...
Good luck with your ebay purchase, I will keep this item for sale on this forum for a week or so, before listing on ebay

I am having a clearout, so this convertor has to go. The convertor uses a combination of optics (a multi-coated 7-element configuration), plus an extension tube which when fully extended doubles the focal length of any lens attached to it.

Using a 50mm lens results in a maximum of 1:1 magnification at a minimum distance of 45cm. The effective aperture will then be double the set aperture number. For example, f/1.4 becomes f/2.8, or a 2 stop loss in light.

The convertor is PK mount so it needs to be used in manual mode and is in pretty good condition for its age, with just a few specs of dust, that do not significantly effect IQ. It comes complete with caps and its original lens case (a bit tatty)

This convertor was very well regarded in its day and represents a cheap entry into 'Macro' photography. See link http://www.jr-worldwi.de/photo/index.html?macro3_shootout.html

I am be looking for £50 plus postage (say £4.50 for 1st class signed for delivery.

Here are a few images captured yesterday at Foxton Locks on the Leicestershire arm of the Grand Union Canal.
There are 10 locks in total made up of 2 staircases each made up of 5 locks.

Well worth a visit

Hi Steve, I have experienced similar problems with older Pentax lenses (I have no Sigma lenses) As with your case they communicated with an older camera in my case a Z1, but not with an MZ6 or K10.

In my case it was contacts inside the lenses that needed cleaning and adjusting.
