For sale I have two Pentax close up lenses designed to be use with Pentax 50mm lenses with a 49mm thread. I purchased these to use on an 50mm F1.7 for semi macro work. Also for sale is a Pentax Conv-A filter acquired as part of a bundle.

This filter is SMC coated and has hardly been used. It has its original box and keeper together with the original supplied literature.

Price £12.50 plus PayPal fees and postage.

Well All mine seem to have disappeared when I log in to the account but are there if I click on the link below. The 6 or so I uploaded last week have gone completely and the ones I submitted for approval before they started messing around have now returned.

Madness.
Mike what browser are you using?

My images from last week are missing no matter what browser I use and like you my earlier images, which were awaiting approval before the site was redesigned have returned.

I have just logged on using three different browsers (latest versions of Opera, Firefox and IE9).

IE9 is clearly not working correctly. My approved images are not available and I am unable to click on an 'artist'

Firefox and Opera seem to be OK, my approved images are there (nine on the front page and a further two viewable by clicking on a page tab underneath)

Also Opera Mini on my Android phone not working correctly

Strangely when I go to Jonathan's page I see nine images on the front page, but there are no page tabs underneath, however when I click on an image the rest become available to view.

Before the new site was launched I had 5 images pending approval and 11 approved. When the new site launched the pending images dissapeared. I took it that this was because of the new size requirements and re-uploaded those images and a couple of others. Last night they were all viewable.
Today all my approved images has gone, together with those I re-uploaded, but mysteriously the earlier pending approval images have reappeared.

I have informed them of the issue via the contact form, hopefully they can restore the missing images.

I have a 77mm Kenko Pro 1D fitted to a DA* 16-50 . It is slightly more resitive to turning than a 58mm Kood I use, but it is definitely not stiff.

I had a 16-50 for three years (until I destroyed it), and it was hardly ever off the camera. If it had flare issues, I never noticed them. What mattered to me was that it was one of the few lenses I have owned from which the pictures could sometimes be mistaken for those taken with a Limited lens.
I echo George's comment, on occasions images captured with this lens show the 'pop and 3D separation' that is a hallmark of the FA limiteds.

That said there are some issues. I always shoot RAW, so any vignetting/distortion and CA is easily taken care of by the Pentax supplied profile in Lightroom/CS5.

This lens along with the DA* 50-135 are getting a little long in the tooth now. They were introduced at a time when the future of Pentax was very much in the balance. We have to remember that these lenses are essentially Tokina designs, repackaged with SDM,weather sealing and SMC. I believe the later DA* 60-250 is much more of a Pentax design.
