Wonderfully sharp little lens with great colour rendition, not seeing any action lately so someone else can put it to good use.
The only issue is the stop down ring doesn't click resoundly into place, but if you use it in A it is fine,

Not going to set the photography world alight but for cover almost everything walkabout lens it's not bad. I has internal focus so can be used with CPLs and grads also has a lock to prevent the lens opening during tansport. Quite a compact little lens. Has a few marks to the coating on the front element but do not effect the photos.
Not the sharpest but very versatile.

Don't suppose it reports Sigma Etc. lenses correctly with the TC on?
Mine has literally just arrived and you are right it doesn't report the correct (adjusted) FL for my Siggy 70-200.

I have tried it on my DA*300 reporting 420mm and I'm very pleased with the outcome. It works beautifully with my DA*50-135 and reports 70-189. With the DA*16-50 it reports 22-70.
IQ is very, very good indeed. I think it will be permanently fixed to the end of my 300 though
I now have a Pentax 140mm f4 1:1 WR macro lens.

I don't think I have ever been this happy (Bill Murray in Stripes)

I have a K-7 that Pentax stated was good for 100,000

Here is the evidence, This is the 100,000th photo taken with my K-7 and not a single issue with it even after I dropped it from chair height onto concrete. It landed on the flash mount with enough force to bend it Picked it up, dusted it down and carried on shooting.

I asked why at the Photography Show and the guy explained that it is to do with licensing of the mount.

Whatever you get make sure it will comfortably take the heaviest camera and lens combo you have.
