I'm surprised. I was expecting more of a price-gouge than that.
If it's really, really good optically, that's not too bad, given how ridiculous lens prices have become.

Price is about the same as Canon and Nikon offerings, so should be expected really.
Will have to be very good to make me get it though, im not happy with the Pentax 1.7x results most the time!

Weather sealed, SDM/DC compatible, Will work with screw focus lenses. latest HD coating, Price inbetween Canon and Nikon versions (so ballpark) Not compromised third party optics?

Seems very expensive for about 1" of product...must have cost all of about £40-£50 to manufacture.

You may be right, and expecting to pay 4 - 5 times that it should be maybe £250. Even if you add VAT on top of that it's still £70 more than it should be. Let's see how much the price settles at later in the year...

Looks well made. Stuck it on the DA 300 and the results look good in camera. Ordered back to work, so no time to post anything.
