Thank you Mike, Peter, Bill. Ah, parallel worlds! The photographic suggestion of such is my personal definition of 'pursuit of happiness'.

Great points of view Peter, and well-processed. Interesting background story too.

Colour and b+w lead to two very different approaches here, John. Of the colour set, 2 & 4 have that something special - 2 for its delicate suggestiveness and 4 for the mystery of what lies just over that hill, and beyond the fencing, with the trees acting as sentinels. The b+w seem to be more about the skies than the land to my eyes (except for the one with the stone), and make me wonder a little bit less than the aforementioned colours - nicely done though. I'd definitely enjoy a couple of photographic days (or weeks) in that environment.

Yet another little set of images from Rochefort - still nothing very recognizable, though. I feel I'm getting to know parts of the town a bit more intimately over the years, and it is starting to open up to me in a non-touristy way.

I've already posted a few shadow-play images, and here are a few more:

Glad to see you back Bill, with another stunning set of images. There is a subset of these (4, 6, 8, 12) which feels very organic, live creatures of sorts (which mud is, in a way) caught in some strange rite of self-cleansing. I'll add 2 to that subset - although it feels a bit different - in which I see a climax to the scene: the creature finally steaming off its glorious impurities in the morning (evening?) sun... Sorry, can't help myself, stories just pop into my mind when I see this type of work from you. 3 packs a heck of a graphic punch, and the waves in 9 are gorgeous. I'm not quite sure whether 13 is more mud than water or vice-versa, but it is at any rate a very soothing moment in the series, as is 5. Many thanks for coming back to share these with us.
