That's about the going rate for one in very good shape, I think.

I've also got a M100/4 and rate it highly. It also does quite a good job at portraiture.

I'm having a clear out of some of my lenses to make space and raise funds for my next round of LBA.

For sale is my A24-50mm f/4. I've had it for a year or so, but haven't used it much as I have an A35-105 which I find a more useful focal range for what I normally shoot. I've been very pleased with the results; it's very sharp and renders colours nicely. There are some more detailed review on the other site here.

It's in very good condition, as shown in the pictures. The optics are in good shape, with no scratches, marks or fungus (but one or two specks of internal dust - normal for a lens of the age and nothing that would affect the pictures).

It is supplied with the original front and rear caps. Although I don't normally use them, I'd be happy to include a UV filter as well if you'd like one.

Looking at the going rate on eBay, I think that £80 delivered within the UK is reasonable and I'd be happy to investigate postage options to send it further afield if required. Payment by bank transfer or PayPal (with the buyer covering the fees) please.

I've used some carpenters' dividers, and shaped the ends with a file so that they are a good fit in the notches on the ring to be unscrewed.

That's an interesting idea. And, as it turns out, difficult. I think that my 7 would be as follows:

But then I'd really miss my WR kit lens and 18-250 for travel and some of my MF primes for fun. 7 sounded like quite a lot and nobody should really need more than that. I thought that my LBA was in remission. B*gger!
