always intrested to learn.


what i'm after is a longer lens the one i have is a tamron 70-300, and i was thinking of trying to get a 500mm one but was not sure as to what mount my slr was. i'm also unsure of the one on ebay as i really haven't got a clue what i should look for.

was'nt sure where to put this, so if i's in the wrong place sorry, and mods feel free to move it to correct section.

i'm trying to take a pick of the moon but all iseem to get is good pics of the clouds and a bright white blob with no details. how can i take a pic of the moon showing it brilliant details? what settings are best for taking the pics?

i have a k100d super and a tamron 70-300 thats the best i got at the mo. any advice or ideas welcom. TIA
