I would lone to keep the K10 stefan & I will shed a tear when it goes but I have to be realistic and I am not at the level yet where i will need or use 2 bodies so it would just go to waste.

On another note i tried the burst/multiple capture mode on the K7 and its really impressive - i am still reading the instruction book and learning the menus etc but all good so far.

I forgot all about this until I started to clear out my k10d kit earlier today

I have an LF80 which is the standard(framed) one for a K10D spare - i bought one in error second hand thinking it was the divided one(it was in the wrong box - LL80 on ebay) and never tried it but it looks all ok -it comes with the pentax box and tweesers etc.

As I have just bought a K7 I have decided to sell my K10d as i dont need a backup as it wont get the use it deserves - details as follows

K10D bought 16/04/2008 from LCE in Taunton original reciept included (i understand they have a 2 year warranty)

Its in immaculate condition - 9000 shutter clicks and everything works fine - it has the matte divided focusing screen fitted which is good for working out the rule of thirds etc - i will include the original focusing screen as well. All cables,straps, charger, usb and paper manual - i think i have the original box somewhere.

1 X magic lantern guide
3 X spare non genuine batteries - yes 3 so plenty to keep you going
2 X 18-55 kit lens - I have a habit of buying more than i need
1 X F 80-200 lens
I will throw in an A50 F1.7 - apature ring a little stiff but ok

£250 collected and i might sell you some nice M glass cheap as well
I could post it but its heavy kit and i will need to organise a box, packing etc,etc so it will probobly be about £25 to post

Well i went to look at one as I had to handle one before I made a decision - local currys & LCE shops had Nikon D300s and canon 50d's which are nice but i really like the pentax features - so i had to travel 55 miles to find a pentax pro dealer with one in stock. I was worried about the size but its great - i bought it with the twin wr lens deal - i didnt intend to get the lenses but they actually feel really good and of course they are water resistant.

just charged up the battery and updated the firmware to version 1.02 and I have to say initial impressions are excellent - i love the burse rate which is impressive, the metering also appears to be spot, on as i have a mix of daylight and warm energy saving lights in our main room and it handled it very very well- the focus assist light is a useful addition and helps.

I have upgraded from my beloved K10d so now i have the difficult decision of wether to keep the K10 as a backup or move it on to someone who might use it more and i can use the money to spend towards some better lenses

Well I am off to Mifsuds tomorrow as i thought they have a good stock and are in travelling distance and i am more than likely going to buy one but thanks for the heads up on currys

I am travelling 70 odd miles to the closest dealer who has a K7 tomorrow and was wandering if anyone can comment of its size - i gather its smaller than the K10 and i actually really like how the K10 feels weight wise etc without a grip.
