I know what you mean GivingTree. I wasn't sure about it either. Any suggestions on colour? I could play around in Photoshop.

Aberlady Bay is one of those placs on my "must visit" list. I'll definately get round to going some time this year. I'll add Musselburgh to the list too - thanks for the tips!

Thought you folks might like this. Just a bit of fun really but it tickled me (maybe I'm just easily amused!)

This chap is "Monkey". He shot to stardom about 10 years ago in the UK fronting the advertising campaign for On Digital, the first digital terrestrial television service, with his comedian friend Johnny Vegas (playing the character Al).

They now advertise PG Tips tea and you can see their latest ad here: (well worth a look!)

This is actually a parody of an old Morecambe and Wise sketch.

Despite having to use pins to hold his hands (paws?) in place, no monkeys were harmed in the making of this image. Honest.

(His t-shirt says "Sidekick" by the way)

Great shots. Never seen a tree climbing moorhen before! How curious! I guess the poor thing was hungry.

Taken this afternoon just after the wind had died down (a little anyway) and the snow had stopped. This is a five minute drive from my front door and is the home of Scotland's National Motor Sports Centre. link

This is actually 5 different exposures combined and tonemapped with Photomatix Pro.

Thanks for looking.

I've had my K20D for less than two weeks and I'm itching to get more time to play with it. It seems to be a fantastic bit of kit and I'm so glad I upgraded from my K100D (which my other half has now inherited much to their delight!)

Have fun and looking forward to seeing some cracking shots.

I had never even seen a bullfinch until Thursday this week. They are gorgeous wee birds and I can't wait for the better weather (and more time in my diary hopefully) to spend longer in the gardens for both the wonderful plants and the birds.

No worries Stefan. I agree re: RAW. I always shoot in RAW - it gives you so much more freedom.
