Hi everyone is there a way of putting your name into the meta data of your raw(pef's) files.I used to use a canon eos 400 and you could enter your name into a section of the canon software then it would add your name to the meta data so the files would be yours and yours alone for copyright purposes.
At the moment on my pef's it just has lounge pc as the owner of each file.This must be what my pc is called any help would be much appreciated

You could also read some reviews on ephotozine.com.It states in the review of the sigma 18-50mm ex lens as being one of the sharpest lenses they've ever tested but they have also tested pentax ones aswell.Its all down to money i suppose but to take nothing away from sigma i love em

tamron and Sigma have been aroung for years I only use sigma ex lenses but thats probably down to the fact i cant really afford pentax ones in the focal lengths i want.I purchased a sigma 10-20mm for £330 pounds were the pentax would've been a 12-24mm at the cost of about £499 also got a 18-50mm ex for £275 and a 50-150mm for £469.It does seem at the moment though that on srsmicrosystems there are a few pentax lenses knocking about for not a lot of money say the 55-300mm £189 or the 50-200mm for an excellent £129.I've seen sigma and tamron lenses in various magazine reviews beat the competition but that aside if i could afford the pentax SDM lenses i would buy em

I buy and sell quite a bit on ebay and the fact that you get charged once for listing then once for selling and then paypal also charge you for receiving a payment.Especially since paypal is an ebay company its outrageous that you get charged three times for selling 1 item and if that item is say a camera or lens you could be looking at quite a fee. damn em!
