I must get around to adding my equipment list to my signature.

I'm resurrecting this ancient post just to show that I HAVE searched the forum entries.
I've done exactly what it says and found absolutley nothing resembling the actions suggested
Can someone please assist with the question of incorporating a 'signature' to posts etc?

Your username is top right of the screen. Click on it to open the drop down menu. Select Settings. Then select profile information. You can enter a signature in the appropriate field on that page.
In general, signatures should be brief and long equipment lists are discouraged because they waste space. The Terms of Use are quite specific, but in practice the situation has been much more tolerant.

Some people have their signature complete with web sites and list of most used equipment. I have searched the page that you use to enter your details and there is no space to enter this sort of info.
Is it that you have to have a certain standing, length or membership, number of posts, before this sort of information can be added?
Not a problem but I like to see the equipment people are using as they do not always say and I have no objection for others to see what I may be using. Exif is OK but can be a bit of a fiddle or absent.
