Along with the rest of the world I'm on a tight budget and I've been wondering about replacing my two kit lenses - the Schneider 18-55 and the 50-200 - with second hand lenses like the Pentax SMC 'F' 70-210mm F4-5.6 AF Lens. Do the older lenses perform better? The one I've quoted has some excellent reviews and is at a very reasonable price. I'm already a happy owner of a couple of prime lenses. Is old glass better than kit glass rto put it succinctly.
