Full frame
What no vignetting? That's very interesting.

They sound like great monitors but buying an i1 Display would add to the cost!

I have a Sigma 150-500 and I can see that it could be beneficial to have it updated now, even though I have no plans to buy a K1 or sell the lens.

I presume that the modified lens will still work on my K5 after modification?
No reason to suppose otherwise, the difference is the mount is now on a raised bevel to make the part in contact with the body the same size as a Pentax lens, everything else is the same.

Does this mean I can ask an extra £90 for the K-3II I'm thinking of selling? 😅

Have lens prices gone up as well? (I really have little idea on prices these days)
Won't harm your asking price. From what I can see on SRS Microsystems the lenses haven't changed but maybe that is down to stock levels, we have been warned to expect increases soon.

Welcome Carol, that 10-17mm is a great lens but it was ages before I managed to get a photo worth keeping so I am really looking forward to seeing yours!

So maybe those who went with the launch deals were not so daft after all!

You have just missed an introductory offer. It was something like £6.78 for the first 12 months. Seems to come round every now and again, if you want to hang on.

You can, but I don't think it will be as up to date as the plan version.
At that price you can buy a new version every year! Or not, if feeling strapped and want to keep control of your money without losing what you have paid for.

You are quite right Nigel, for such photos in conditions with good lighting I dare say you would be hard pushed to really see much difference. I have found using a 50mm f1.8 lens on a K50 with a tripod, live view and a cable release I have been able to achieve remarkable levels of detail and sharpness.
