Thanks Don and McGregNI, so the transmitter only works with Godox flash units, there isn’t a receiver to sit other flash makes on. But with the cheapness of the Godox units I suppose that is unnecessary.

Lucky you, our tv is on continuous Murdoch Mysteries. Which is why I am doing this.

Cannot believe how cheap this system is - at Amazon the transmitter is £60.00 and a TT600 flash is £59.00.

Can someone please explain in simple terms what is needed? I get that there is the Godox transmitter but will it work with any or all Pentax flash units which I presume are fitted with a receiver? If so, what is the difference between the receivers? I would want full functionality.

In Tunisia a few years ago I watched a hawk raiding house martin nests on the hotel facade; assuming it was an African “first” I poured through the guide book only to conclude it was a kestrel.

It is great to have such positive feedback on the upgrade, I was hesitant because of the negative reviews on the noise control and I am unlikely to hand hold a pixel shift shot. Also a bit concerned how the weather sealing would be affected by the dismantling; with watches any servicing tends to negate the water resistance for instance. For these reasons I didn’t go ahead but now wishing I had!

We agree a fee with visiting presenters beforehand; ok it’s not a great deal as they are realistic about club funds but I take exception to pedants. We don’t do competitions except an informal arrangement without judges and I confess I really don’t get the whole club competition aspect of photography. Please remember club judges and lecturers give up their time and are only paid expenses.
