Strange the Ricoh page doesn't include anything but wide-open close-ups. I'd have thought some street, cityscape and landscape photos would have been good to include for a lens like this.
Looks like a nice lens though and out to provide a nice alternative to the single big ultra-wide zoom.

I have to admit I'm a sucker for shiny new Pentax lenses, but my buying (and selling) habits have changed over the last couple of years and I won't just buy a Pentax because it is new (the D FA 150-450 for example - a fine lens by all accounts but I doubt it would get used much because of it's bulk/weight). However, I've always liked the 20mm focal length particularly in Prime form, and reading the well crafted stories of this soon to be legend I think this would fit well with my kit.....
...anyone after a second hand Pentax FA 20mm
I wonder how many more of us are likely purchasers

Bokeh at close quarters looks delicious and further out has plenty of resolution.

Read measured by Aida 64 came in at a stable 270MB/s
Write I measured with Sisoft Sandra 2020 and it was a bit more up and down but still impressive varying between 120MB/s and 220MB/s
Finally I tested it against CrystalDiskMark 7 - Reads are lower but writes are stronger.
All in all, looks to do what it says on the tin without extravagant pricing.

I've a couple due in and will test on a USB 3.2 port with USB Type C reader next week when they arrive. Normally I run SanDisk extremes but they seem to be @ >75 of whatever currency you choose.

Surely there's no reason to pick one of these up at the current price when top quality Distagon lenses are available for less (the 25/2.8 is a wonderful example).
The DFA21/2.4 will be hard pushed to match the centre resolution wide open that the Zeiss can achieve. €679 extra for a warranty, AF, weather sealing and DFA Limited status seems like good value then
