It's a funny lens in that it seems to be difficult to control. I am pretty stable with the DFA*'s (50, 85, 70-200) but this one seems to have me swaying about the place The only thing I don't have is a rail, I have the extenders, the TC, the macro flash and a reasonable Tri-pod (Which I rarely use) so in for a penny, in for a pound.

I suspect most of my images will be like this and not bug headshots

Tough Crowd. Never been one for birds or insects interestingly enough. Have been known to take a pic or two of a watch movement, small enough?

Been lusting after one for years and years. Finally decided to just do it last week. Stupid money after taxes and duties nowhere near what the FA* version would have cost me. Its a lot smaller than I thought it would be.

Adored my K-5iis, small, compact nimble and I still think just about enough MP for APSC. The K-3iii is everything the K-5iis was (is) but massively more refined and nimbler. I think it's output is a bit grainier than the 5's but everything else is miles ahead. Ovf is bigger and brighter, af is very snappy and accurate. It makes the K-1 feel last gen.
