i have one of these ,it was the first lens i bought and i still like it but it has developed some movement in the body. if i hold the lens and then take hold of the font i can move it up/down and side to side. so i am thinking that possibly time to find a replacement and was wondering on the Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 as it is abit faster and it will not break the bank.
any thoughts on the problem or the replacement all replies appreciated
thanks

i seem to aquire dust on sensor with k7 most times it will come off using the camera system but when it sticks straight to clifton cameras wet&dry clean £45 once last year once this year. my rationale being if i muck it up no camera if they muck it up their problem

i have found you do have to ask the most obvious questions you can think of, the most common being, is the item in FULL WORKING UNDAMAGED order, and use capital letters, so there is no mistake and send a copy to yourself so you have proof the question was asked, as i notice some questions i have asked do not appear on the listing as they are supposed to

Ended up with 2 of these as i thought the 1st one was faulty,so purchased this one from "elvisboy" , this is the best one as far as cosmetics i.e no dust no marks no lettering rubbed off,i would say pretty much perfect. in operation it seems fine to me,only used it twice anyway. would have sold the 2 but the other does have a lot of dust, not the quality i would wish to sell on this forum
comes with hard case ,front&rear caps, hood
Price £250 + p&p (about£10-£15) weighs 4kg+packaging uk only. cheque ,postal order or bank transfer. thanks

i have a Lowepro Rezo 170aw ,this holds k7 with 55-300 attached ,da 16-45, 105 sigma macro or you could replace one of these two with 2 small primes and carry 3 spare lenses. also has pocket for memory cards, wireless remote. i also push a Gorillapod zoom tripod through the 2 loops on the front.being an aw it has the waterproof cover
