I seem to recall some of the old timers (when I was a lad in the sixties) using a tinted glass filter (think it was dark green) to view what they wanted to photograph. The idea was that it removed the colour components to give an idea of the contrast, light balance etc. when mono film was used.
I think it was an old cinematography technique from the days of B&W filming.
Anyone know more about it?

Here for a few weeks so any suggestions for dealers or shops in the Copenhagen/Malmo area?
Tried Fotographica in town but they only have a few second hand lenses and nothing too inspiring.

£250 plus VAT IIRC. Took about three weeks total.
Best bet is to give them a ring and get a quote. They do have pre-converted units which may be where the £700 comes from.
Prices here (link) only have the IST D listed but is the same price for other Pentax boxes.
