Seen at Leighton Moss today

The photographer carefully placed the seed on the log - chaffinches, sparrows, blackcap etc came down to feed along with a much larger pheasant. No! shouted the man and ran towards the log shooing the birds away.

The photographer placed more seed on the log - down came a chaffinch to eat the seed and so did the pheasant. No! shouted the man and ran towards the log shooing the birds away, I only want that little bird in the picture (pointing to the chaffinch)

He put more seed out but no birds came down again. Damn he said and walked on

I think he had lost the plot

He should have left a polite note along with the seed saying that he only wanted the chaffinch.

All would have known then.
